3rd EAHP Meeting of Implementation ambassadors

The 3rd EAHP Meeting of ambassadors was held in Brussels on November 15. Ambassadors representing 21 national associations attended the meeting. The EAHP Implementation team updated ambassadors on the progress made since the last meeting (October 2017) and explained the next steps for the project.
Ambassadors also took this opportunity to inform the team on what has happened within their countries and what are some of the needs and priorities of their national associations at this moment. Finally, the meeting was a perfect venue to brainstorm and to discuss new ideas for the project.
EAHP wants to thank all its national associations and all Implementation Ambassadors for their work and commitment with the implementation project. More information about the project can be found here www.statements.eahp.eu

2nd EAHP training of Ambassadors

The 2nd EAHP Training of ambassadors took place in Brussels on November 15 and November 16. The training was facilitated by Kahyll Management Consultancy and was focused around communication and influencing strategies. Implementation Ambassadors learned the best ways to build public narratives in order to influence national stakeholders to promote the importance of the Statements for the patient.
Several practical workshops were organised during this 2-days training. This allowed Ambassadors to simulate situations and to put in practice some of the skills learned during this training and during the previous training held in January 2018.

Self-assessment tool: don’t stay behind and assess your pharmacy

105 Hospitals have assessed the level of Statement implementation within their pharmacies using the EAHP self-assessment tool. The tool not only allows pharmacists to understand the level of implementation and where they are within their countries and others, but it also provides an action plan with resources that will help pharmacies to move towards implementation.
The tool has been translated to: Spanish, French, Hungarian, Polish, Greek, Italian, Romanian and Turkish. Stay tuned as more languages will be added in the following weeks.
The tool can be access here. And don’t forget to check our videos to learn more about the tool!

SILCC Fellowships: Visit other countries to learn about pharmacy procedures linked with the Statements

The Statement Implementation learning Collaborative Centres (SILCC) is a recently launched programme that allows hospital pharmacists (SILCC Fellows) to visit hospitals (SILCC Host) from other member countries to receive training on pharmacy procedures linked to the European Statements.

Do you want to become a SILCC Fellow? Then visit our website and find one of the 8 SILCC Hosts that have been approved (more will be approved in the following months). Remember that EAHP will assist with financial and logistical help when visiting a SILCC Host.

Do you have questions about the SILCC programme? Don’t hesitate and contact the Implementation team at Statements@eahp.eu
