The European Statements of Hospital Pharmacy express commonly agreed objectives which every European health system should aim for in the delivery of hospital pharmacy services.
The statements were subject to open Delphi consultation with national hospital pharmacy associations, European patient groups, doctors and nursing organisations. The same organisations then gave their final joint approval to each statement individually by a weighted voting method at the Summit event. The European Statements of Hospital Pharmacy represent the future of the profession and we believe that its implementation will help achieving better outcomes for patients.
